Long distance hikes
Near the quality hiking trail Nordrandweg of the Swabian Alb (main hiking trail HW 1, of the Swabian Alb Association: from Donauwörth to Tuttlingen) as well as directly on HW 7 (from Lorch to Friedrichshafen), there are opportunities for long-distance hikes. Starting and finishing point is the Badhotel Stauferland “Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland”. Also in the surroundings of Bad Boll with starting and finishing point: Badhotel, there are many beautiful possibilities for circular walks.

Golfing at the Stauferland
The 18 golf courses of the Golf-Club Hohenstaufen e.V. are located in the midst of meadows with fruit trees, deciduous and fir forests around the Ramsberg, whose castle has its origins in the Staufer period. The history of the Staufer is described on 18 tracks, from the Staufer cradle via the imperial tracks to the imperial palace, the clubhouse, a former sheepfold.

The exhibition
Products from the entire company history are presented on 2,000 square metres of exhibition space. Interactive media technology and creative staging turn Märklin's history into captivating experiences. A 400 square meter model railway layout is accessible on two levels and will take on even more form when it opens.
The Märklin store
The steel construction is similar to a locomotive shed, so that the blind itself is worth seeing. Inside, numerous glass showcases present products from Märklin, Trix and LGB. In addition, all well-known manufacturers of accessories are in the range. The associated treasure trove offers special bargains, the Märklin Service help for every model railway. Visitors will also find small gift ideas and souvenirs of the Märklineum visit.
The Bistro
Our self-service bistro has room for around 100 people and invites you to linger. Whether breakfast, lunch snack or coffee and cake, there is something for every taste.
